Construction projects require careful advice and support in every step of the development process – from inception to completion and beyond.

We provide construction services for contractors, developers and housebuilders and have experience in dealing with international construction projects.

What do we do?

Regardless of whether your development is straightforward or complex, we don’t over-engineer things. We look at your commercial goals and the legal principles that we can put in place to help you achieve them.

Construction development work

We advise on the entire spectrum of construction and engineering work from significant regeneration schemes, infrastructure projects, distribution, leisure and retail schemes, education, manufacturing, sporting facilities and new build housing.

Our contract advice work typically ranges from drafting bespoke documents for national developers and housebuilders, advising site owners and developers on the procurement of construction projects to advising main contractors, sub-contractors and construction professionals on the negotiation of contracts.

They are one of the very well-established construction players, and have been for many years.

Construction and housebuilder disputes

As well as transactional work, we have expert teams advising on construction and housebuilder disputes to help resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project or subsequently.

Who do we help?

Our clients include many of the major housebuilders, local authorities, universities, major developers, landowners and employers not directly involved in construction. We also act for a wide range of those delivering construction projects including major national and regional contractors, subcontractors and professional consultants.

New Homes Quality Code

More than 50% of all new homes sold in England, Scotland and Wales are now protected by the New Homes Quality Code. We outline how housebuilders can comply.
