Simon is a Senior Architectural Technologist and is part our Architecture and Planning team. Simon has experience in the residential (private/ social), heritage and property adaptions and conversions.

Simon also has an extensive portfolio working on other sectors including commercial, industrial, health/ care facilities, education, and large-scale residential developments (up to 900 plots), he can lead projects through all of the RIBA Plan of Work Stages.

He has worked with a range of clients from private individuals, housebuilders.

Simon supports on both insurance reinstatement projects and non-insurance related projects such as those from developers or individuals with excellent design skills and robust knowledge of planning, heritage and building regulations matters.

How do you help clients?

I aim to help my clients achieve their requirements for their home or development by recognising and understanding opportunities and constraints set out for each individual project.

I look to provide a good design with sustainability being an important part of this. Together with delivering a high-quality service tailored to each development’s individual requirement.

Experience

  1. Securing planning and listed building consent on countless projects all over the country.
  2. Delivered a complex design and build to a listed hotel to specific deadline.
  3. Design of a large modern executive home in the heart of a conservation area.
  4. Helping the client to develop a sympathetic scheme of works on a Grade I listed building.
  5. Produced large scale layouts for sites of 450+ plots – including landscaping and road networks.
