Megan acts on behalf of developers and housebuilders on a range of construction disputes including fire safety and cladding disputes as well as claims relating to defective design and workmanship defects.
In addition to this, Megan assists and advises housebuilders and businesses in respect of commercial claims, including those relating to breach of contract and both land and property disputes.
Megan’s experience also includes advising on data protection matters, including data subject access requests.
Experience
- Advising developers in relation to fire cladding defects in building façade systems and subsequent remediation claims, following the Grenfell Tower tragedy
- Liaising with fire cladding experts in respect of defects uncovered at developments in order to support claims for third party contribution
- Assisting housebuilder clients in respect of breaches of covenant and claims in nuisance relating to the use of properties within a development as Air B&Bs
- Acting for commercial clients in respect of a land disputes, including where a third party’s unauthorised use of land has caused delays in a development or in progressing a sale of the land
- Advising companies in respect of alleged breaches of contract, including alleged claims pertaining to conflicts of interest
