Expertise
As part of the GSP architecture and planning department Matt assists both private and insurance clients with planned and reactive works. He undertakes planning, listed building consent and building regulations works. He has experience within private, commercial, education and agricultural sections for both complete new builds and extensions and alterations.
Matt also assists with the capture and processing of existing building data through the use of GSP’s NavVis laser scanner. This system enables highly accurate measured surveys and creation of detailed drawings.
How do you help clients?
I help clients to develop their ideas into a state which they can be suited to fit both the needs of the client while also maintaining compliance with the building regulations. I seek good design while maintaining a balance with sustainability and influence from the local vernacular.

- Assisted a client with gaining planning permission and listed building consent to allow the conversion of a listed school building into four townhouses.
- Successfully delivering planning permission and building control approval for developments of multiple dwellings.
