How do you help clients?

I enjoy helping clients and providing top customer care to achieve a positive result. I achieve this with hard work, clear communication, management of risk, good people skills and knowledge of key legislation and regulations in the construction industry.

Where the client brief isn’t explicitly clear, I am able to work with the client to agree what they require from the initial instruction. I am committed to meeting time scales and deadlines and go above and beyond when required to ensure client expectations are met and project communication is maintained. I also manage expectations from inception of instructions to ensure the client is clear on the service being provided to achieve a positive result.

I would describe myself as a safe pair of hands who is aware of his own professional experience and professional limitations and strives to improve and achieve the best for clients.

Experience

  1. Bringing major loss insurance claims from disrepair back to their pre loss compliant condition. Insurance claims can be traumatic for homeowners and delivering a successful project to put someone’s home back into repair is rewarding.
  2. Delivering residential external decorations and repair project to a multi occupied listed building within budget and within previously agreed packages of works, taking into consideration conservation requirements. I provided initial advice regarding appropriate packages of work to make the best use of temporary access (for example scaffolding), facilities and protection and to ensure economies of scale.
  3. Undertake surveys and inspections to provide clients with advice on defects and recommendations for repair.
  4. Work to understand complicated situations involving multiple consultants within a project team scenario or building survey and report to clients in a straightforward and easy to understand manor.
  5. Lead and work well within a team to get the best out of the wider project team to deliver complex projects.
