Craig is a chartered engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers and has a wide range of structural engineering experience within the construction sector. Craig provides a wealth of services to a wide range of clients, predominantly in the form of structural surveys and reports, designs, calculations, drawings and professional structural engineering advice.

Craig’s experience ranges from helping our insurance clients identify the cause of structural defects, how to best remediate them as well as providing general professional structural advice. Craig also assists both private and commercial clients, providing professional advice and guidance on structural issues giving them confidence in all structural matters. Examples of these services include structural surveys/inspections of properties and the design of various structures using a range of materials such as steel, concrete and timber.

Craig also has experience in the design and managing of highways infrastructure projects. Examples include bridge inspections and remedial design works.

How do you help clients?

I help clients with a wide variety of structural engineering problems such as identifying specific defects, providing commentary on causation and advice/ guidance on remediation. I also provide calculations/ designs/ drawings for projects which can range from large steel portal frames to small domestic extensions as well as ‘one-off’ structural element design.

  1. Providing technical advice to insurers and policyholders on insurance claims such as but not limited to subsidence, fire damage, escape of water and impact damage.
  2. Providing structural designs and calculations to both private and commercial clients.
