Working for solicitors around the UK, Andrew acts as an expert witness and has provided evidence at mediation and in the County and High Courts.

Andrew is a proven team player and effective communicator having shaped Gateley Smithers Purslow’s board and steered the company’s growth in recent years.

Experience

1. Advising on the £6m restoration of 25 apartments destroyed by fire, working for the residents’ company, their insurers, adjusters, assessors and brokers.
2. Providing expert witness advice to aid policyholders and their insurers and solicitors to understand their obligations on £1m building residential warranty claim.
3. Providing advice to enable insurance claim settlement of water damaged Chelsea penthouse followed by employer’s agent role to oversee £6m refit.
4. Providing Technology Court evidence on behalf of insurers to defend multi-million pound water damage claim.
5. Advising on design and contract administration of £5m listed building office repairs after extensive fire damage.
