In 2016 they launched an open art competition and in 2017 announced that the winning artist was Susan Philipsz with her proposal of a large-scale aural artwork based on the 12 tones of the chromatic scale. ‘Station Clock’ will be a ground-level artwork in front of the HS2 terminal building at Curzon Street and is due to open by 2027.
